Title

Viola Muse, Dr. Priestly Mullins, Lorenzo Graham, and an Unidentified Woman with Grey Eagle in Background

Description

This item appears to be a photographic postcard featuring (counter-clockwise from lower left) Viola Muse; Dr. Priestly Mullins, her first husband; Lorenzo Graham; and an unidentified woman. The boat showing the name Grey Eagle in the background resembles the packet boat Grey Eagle, but according to the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries, that vessel sank in Illinois in 1888. See https://search.library.wisc.edu/digital/ACIGKAL5KL6CID8T.

On the back of the postcard is written the following:

"Viola Binlak
Dr. P.L. Mullins, Vie's husband
Lorenzo Graham"

Binlak is possibly Muse's middle name, as she identifies herself on many of the documents at the Jacksonville Historical Society as Viola B. Muse.
